Ingredients
18 chicken drums (or chicken breast, thigh sliced 2-3inch wide)
2 large onions sliced
2 large carrots chopped
4.5 OZ moist pitted prunes (Sunsweet recommended)
1 table spoon sugar
Juice one fresh lemon
2/3 table spoon salt
2 bay leaves
8-10 whole Allspice
8-10 whole black pepper
1 table spoon parsley
6 garlic cloves chopped
Timing
Preparation Time: 15 min
Cooking time: 60 min
Directions
Wash chicken meat.
Place onion on the bottom of the pot. Add carrots and place chicken on top. Add water to cover meat. Bring to boil. Simmer on small/medium heat about 30 min. Add salt, garlic, pepper, bay leaves, lemon juice, parsley, prunes, sugar and cook another 30 min.
